Prenatal Chiropractic in Bozeman, Belgrade, and beyond for empowered, balanced, and easeful pregnancies.
Why pregnant women choose Chiropractic care
Pregnancy is a powerful season of growth, change, and preparation. As your body adapts to support new life, shifts in posture, hormones, and pelvic alignment can place added stress on the spine and nervous system. Neurologically focused chiropractic care during pregnancy supports balance, comfort, and optimal nervous system function—helping your body adapt more smoothly as your baby grows. Many women choose chiropractic care not only for relief, but to feel more connected, empowered, and prepared for birth.
Pregnant women often seek chiropractic care for:
Pelvic balance and alignment
Low back pain and round ligament discomfort
Nervous system regulation and stress support
Sciatic nerve pain
Better sleep during pregnancy
Support for optimal baby positioning
Preparation for a more comfortable, aligned birth
Whole-body wellness for both mom and baby
First Trimester (Weeks 1-13)
Your body begins adapting to pregnancy from the very first weeks—hormonal shifts, ligament changes, and early postural adjustments all place new demands on your spine and nervous system. Gentle chiropractic care during this stage supports your body as it lays the foundation for the months ahead.
We commonly help women in their first trimester with:
Morning sickness and nausea support
Fatigue and low energy
Early pelvic and low back discomfort
Nervous system regulation during hormonal shifts
Stress and anxiety around early pregnancy
Second Trimester (Weeks 14-27)
As your baby grows, your center of gravity shifts and your ligaments continue to loosen in preparation for birth. This is often when postural strain becomes more noticeable, making it an ideal time to establish consistent chiropractic support.
We commonly help women in their second trimester with:
Round ligament pain
Mid and low back pain as your body shifts
Rib and upper back tension
Improving posture as your bump grows
Sleep disturbances and finding comfortable positions
Continued nervous system support for you and baby
Supporting your body through every stage of pregnancy
Third Trimester (Weeks 28-40)
In the final stretch, your body is preparing for labor and birth. Pelvic balance becomes especially important during this stage—not just for your comfort, but to help support optimal positioning for your baby. This is where Webster Technique becomes central to our care.
We commonly help women in their third trimester with:
Pelvic alignment and balance to support optimal baby positioning
Sciatic nerve pain
Tailbone and hip discomfort
Swelling and circulation support
Preparing the body for a smoother labor and delivery
Reducing physical restrictions that can affect fetal positioning
Dr. Jessica is Webster Certified, meaning she has advanced training to help balance the pelvis and reduce tension on the ligaments supporting the uterus—giving your baby the best opportunity to find an optimal position for birth.
Fourth Trimester: Postpartum Support in Bozeman
Your body's healing doesn't stop at delivery. The postpartum period brings its own physical demands—recovering from birth, adjusting to new movement patterns (like nursing and baby-wearing), and rebalancing a nervous system that just went through one of life's biggest transitions.
We commonly help women in the postpartum period with:
Postpartum back and neck pain
Recovery support after vaginal or C-section delivery
Nervous system regulation during the postpartum transition
Diastasis recti and core support
Pelvic floor and alignment support
Helping new moms feel physically supported as they care for their newborn

The Webster technique is a way for Chiropractors to specifically analyze where the pelvis is holding stress in pregnant women. This helps us know where to adjust to help support the pelvis so baby has plenty of room to be well supported and help alleviate pelvis and round ligament pain
-
Turning babies is out of our scope of practice, but when we adjust the spine and the nervous system starts communicating differently, many times babies will move to a more optimal position. We do not directly move baby, we just give the body the position and communication it needs so that baby can flip if it feels ready to.

Did you know your baby starts creating and developing their nervous system at 8 weeks in utero? This is why I tell expecting moms the sooner, the better! It’s never too early to get your nervous system assessed and optimized to prepare for the later stages of pregnancy. Dr. Jessica finds that the earlier pregnant women come in, the better results they get, and the less likely aches and pains come up as they get to the third trimester. There are some gals who even start to come in before they are pregnant!
