What to Expect at Elevate Life Chiropractic
At Elevate Life, we don’t snap, crackle, and pop your symptoms for temporary pain relief. We are very intentional about identifying the areas of pressure and stress-related interference in your nervous system. In order to open up the communication channel to promote proper function, we perform specific and gentle spinal adjustments to help your body experience a state of ease.
This is where the healing begins.
If you are committed to showing up in this life to your full potential, then Elevate Life Chiropractic is here to guide your journey through personalized care and chiropractic assessment. We’re honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your body, your health, and your purpose.
-
After you schedule your first visit you will receive a text or email with what is needed for your first visit. We ask that you read through that information and try to fill out the paperwork at least 24 hours before your first visit.
-
Your first visit will include a in depth consultation where we will get into the bottom of you and/ or your child’s health history followed by your first set of nervous system scans that are non-invasive and safe for the whole family! This will consist of three scans that will find, measure, and quantify how much stress and tension may be stuck in your nervous system interfering with the healing process. This is the deep dive and discovery day where Dr. Jessica gets to listen to you and play detective with your health.
-
Your second visit will be when we break down those scans and explain what is going on in your/your child’s nervous system. This is the hope and answers part of your Elevate Life Chiropractic journey! Your personalized care plan will be presented, perfectly curated with our in-depth neurological care planning system with checkpoints along the way to ensure we are constantly adapting to your nervous system’s needs. The team will help you get visits scheduled, and make a financial decision that best fits your family.
-
Your first adjustment will take place at the second visit to allow our team the proper time to determine care needs and the best steps forward. At Elevate Life Chiropractic, Dr. Jessica is trained in a multitude of techniques including both manual & light touch/tonal approaches. No two adjustments are the same as they are tailored to your needs and constantly adapted throughout care as your nervous system changes.
From here, it’s all about sticking to the plan and working alongside our team to get the best results and to experience miracles for yourself. Healing is a process, not a one-time experience.
CLA INSiGHT Scans: A Window Into The Health of your Nervous System
What Are CLA INSiGHT Scans?
CLA INSiGHT scans are cutting-edge, non-invasive technology designed to measure and analyze the health of your nervous system. These state-of-the-art tools provide a clear and comprehensive picture of how your nervous system is functioning, helping us detect hidden stressors and imbalances that may be affecting your overall health and well-being.
The Benefits of INSiGHT Scans
These scans are essential for creating a care plan that is as unique as you are. By utilizing this technology, we can:
Identify hidden stressors that may be impacting your nervous system.
Track your progress over time with clear, objective data.
Personalize your care to address specific areas of need.
Maximize the effectiveness of your chiropractic adjustments.
Thermal Scan
What It Does:
The Thermal Scan measures temperature variations along your spine. These variations can indicate areas of nerve disturbance, where the nervous system is struggling to regulate essential functions.
Why It’s Important:
Your nervous system regulates blood flow and temperature to maintain balance in the body. When under stress, nerve function can become disrupted, leading to abnormal temperature patterns in surrounding tissues. This scan helps us assess areas of neurological imbalance and dysfunction, identifying how stress may be impacting your body's ability to regulate and heal.
Surface Electromyography (sEMG)
What It Does:
The Surface Electromyography (sEMG) scan assesses the activity of the muscles along your spine, measuring the electrical signals they produce as they work to support your posture and movements. This scan helps us identify how well your motor system is functioning and whether your nervous system is effectively coordinating muscle activity.
Why It’s Important:
The nervous system communicates with your muscles to maintain balance, posture, and movement. When the nervous system is under stress or there is dysfunction in the communication pathways (e.g., due to subluxations or other factors), muscles may overcompensate, underperform, or develop imbalances. These compensations can lead to discomfort, fatigue, or strain on your body’s overall structure and function. Additionally, the sEMG scan helps evaluate how well your body’s proprioception —its sense of position and movement—is being managed by the nervous system.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
What It Does:
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) measures the variation in time between your heartbeats, providing an indicator of your body’s ability to adapt to stress and recover. A lot of health devices are tracking this, including Oura Rings and Whoop bands.
Why It’s Important:
HRV is a key measure of resilience. A higher HRV indicates that your nervous system is flexible and capable of switching between “fight or flight” (sympathetic) and "rest and digest" (parasympathetic) states. A lower HRV may suggest that your nervous system is stuck in a stress response, which can contribute to fatigue, anxiety, or immune dysfunction.
